A ceremony commemorating the life of Frank V. Piazza Jr will be held at on Saturday March 6, 2021 at 11 am at Galvez Pentecostal Church, officiating the service will be Rev. David Hairford. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation beginning at 9 am at the church, 15267 Joe Sevario Road, Gonzales.
Mr. Piazza was born in New Orleans on March 11, 1963 and passed from this life on February 25, 2021 at Baton Rouge General Medical Center Bluebonnet Campus at the age of 57 years. He was a resident of Prairieville and a member of Galvez Pentecostal Church; he worked as an automotive dispatcher.
He spent much time wood working in his Dad’s shop in New Orleans, building projects for homes and businesses throughout the city; He had a keen interest in comic book collecting and enjoyed all forms of the genre. One of his favorite comic book writers was Stan Lee, his favorite character was Spider Man. He was an avid fan of both the New Orleans Saints and the LSU Tigers, and a lifelong musical fan of Meat Loaf. His greatest passion was time spent with his family and with his first grandchild.
He is preceded in death by his father Frank Victor Piazza Sr. He was the devoted husband of nine years to Sharita Laglenda Webb Piazza, loving father to Dominic and Colin, proud grandfather to Rubi Jae, loving son to Linda Arnouville Piazza, beloved bother to Elizabeth, Theresa (Ronnie), and Russell. He is survived by many relatives and numerous friends.
