Frederick ‘Ricky’ Delhommer

A resident of Dutchtown, he passed away at the Crossing, Clarity Hospice of Baton Rouge on Monday, June 20, 2022. He was 70 years old and a caretaker of his mother and father in their later years. A memorial service will be held at the Fellowship Church, 14363 HWY 73 in Prairieville from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm on Tuesday, July 5, 2022. A private burial will be held at a later date. He is survived by his brothers Anthony Delhommer and wife Jeanette, Gary Delhommer, Keith Delhommer and wife Rhonda, and sister Tammy Anderson. He has numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Henry and Mildred Delhommer. Ricky loved sports and bass fishing. When LSU football or baseball was playing it wasn’t no use to even try and talk to him because boy was he into the game. Ricky often could be found whipping up some pancakes for his nieces and nephews when they were younger, and they said he made the best. My family would like to give a special thanks to his nurse Brittany Rodriguez with Pinnacle and the staff at the Crossing, Clarity Hospice of Baton Rouge. We cannot thank them enough for the great care they provided. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
