Freya Maxine Murray

Since September 18, 2023, Freya brought infinite joy to everyone in her life. She touched lives in ways others couldn’t. After 12 days in PICU at OLOL Children’s Hospital, on October 24th, 2024, Freya left us to meet her great grandparents and grandfather. 

She is survived by her mother Paige Kirschenhunter; father Xavier Murray; sister Leona, 9yr; brother Barry, 2.5yr; grandmothers Denise, Melissa, Schuyla, and June; and grandfathers Bernard and Barry. We would like to say a special thank you to all the nurses and doctors who cared for Freya during her stay, and those who tried their hardest to keep her with us. 

Also, a very special thank you to Dr. Funes, Dr. Crapanzano, Dr. Ortiz and Dr. Binck. 

A Celebration of Life Mass will be held for Freya on Wednesday, October 30th at 12pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 2250 Main Street, Baton Rouge.
