Geneva “Jenny” Kling

A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Mrs. Geneva “Jenny” Kling will be at 11:00am on Thursday January 18, 2018 at St. Theresa-Avila Catholic Church Gonzales; visitation will begin at 9:30am. “Maw Maw Jenny” was born in Gonzales on July 29, 1936 and passed from this life on Wednesday January 10, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Hospital at the age of 81 years. She was a resident of St. Amant, and a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She enjoyed shopping with friends, cooking, baking and ironing; and especially playing card games. Her passion was time spent with her family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Berlin “Butsie” Kling, son, Scott LeBlanc, parents, Clifford and Olive James Decoteau, step mother, Elma B. Decoteau, siblings, Juanita Stader, Ann B. Elisar, and Louis J. Decoteau; the father of her children, T. J. LeBlanc. Survivors include her daughters, Denise Riley & husband Jeff, Melissa Savoy & husband Randy; her siblings, Catherine D. Gautreau, and C. J.
