George Mitchell Martin

A ceremony celebrating the life of George Mitchell Martin will be held on Tuesday December 19, 2023, at Christ Community Church, 26574 Juban Road, Denham Springs, visitation will begin at 10:30 am until time of service at 12:30 pm. Interment will follow at Palmetto Cemetery, Walker.
George was born on January 29, 1981, in Jackson, Mississippi and departed from this life unexpectedly on Thursday December 14, 2023, at the age of 42 years.
He was a resident of Walker and served with the U S Marines during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents Magee and Nancy Lockhart Martin, John and Fay Noble Ashley.
survivors include his children Destiny, Pheonix, and John, his parents Henry S. Martin and Sharon Ashley Martin, sisters Lisa Wilson (Don), Cheryl Stewart, and Brandie Lewis (Ryan), also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
George always said "You know I love you" when he said "goodbye", all who knew him, knows they were loved by George.
