Gerald Lee Guitreau Jr
A ceremony celebrating the life of Gerald Lee Guitreau Jr will be held on Saturday at 12 noon at Berthelot Hall with Fr. Matt Dunn officiating. Visitation will begin at 10 am, interment will follow at Hope Haven Garden of Memory Mausoleum Gonzales.
Mr. Guitreau was born on November 3, 1956 and passed from this life peacefully on Sunday February 28, 2021 at his residence at the age of 64 years.
He is preceded in death by his mother Agnes Melancon, father and stepmother Gerald L. “Bo” and Elizabeth “Jean” Termini Guitreau, half sibling Frank Joseph “Joey” Guitreau.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years Mona Mire Guitreau, children Karen Guitreau (Philip Rouyea) of Gonzales, Aaron Guitreau (Nicole) of Vacherie, and Eric Guitreau (Candace) of Gonzales, grandchildren Logan Rouyea (Jas Cornett), Payton Rouyea, Winston, Elliott, Laith, Porter and Jameson Guiteau, half siblings Derek Guitreau and Antoinette “Toni” Guitreau.
