Gerald Manual Stafford

Gerald Manual “Tommy” Stafford, native and lifelong resident of Gonzales, passed away on March 8, 2025, at the age of 87 in Baton Rouge. He worked as a meter reader for Gulf States Electric and was also the owner of several businesses. Tommy faithfully served in the US Air Force. He was an avid LSU fan, watched Cowboy movies and sports, as well as enjoyed playing cards with his family and friends. Tommy is survived by his children, Kay Wimberly, Jerri Lynn Keller (Anthony), Chad Stafford (Lira), Rachal Ward (Andre) and Rhett Vicknair (Becky); 11 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; brother, Connie R. Stafford; dear friends, Alton Roullier and Roy Hunt. Tommy is preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Stafford; parents, Carl and Mildred Braud Stafford; siblings, Terry Stafford, Ferrel Stafford, Charles Stafford, . A graveside service to honor Tommy will be held at St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church Cemetery on Friday, April 11, 2025, at 10:30am.
