Gladys Hancock Gaines

Gladys Gaines, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, took her final journey home on Monday, March 17, 2025 surrounded by the love of her family.

Gladys was a devoted wife to the late U.S. Marine Corps Veteran Sgt. Robert Milton Gaines.  Together they built a life filled with love, service, and unwavering dedication to family.

She was the cherished mother of two sons, Michael and Colvin Gaines.  Gladys then went on to raise two granddaughters, Kymberli and Maeghan Gaines, as well as great granddaughter Holly.  As a grandmother to nine grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren, her legacy of strength, resilience, and generosity will live on in the hearts she leaves behind.

Gladys spent her life caring for others and her family was her greatest pride.  Her love, kindness, and gentle guidance will be dearly missed but her spirit will live on through her dear loved ones.
