Glenda Dale Bryson Hood Gautreau, native of Baton Rouge, passed away, age 78 at Golden Age in Denham Springs.
She resided in Denham Springs living out her last years at LA Plantation where she was reunited with old friends.
Glenda was a wonderful daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend.
She is preceded in death by her beloved parents Thomas & MinaLee "Terry" Bryson, sister Terry Bryson Sylvest and husbands Mack Ellis Hood and Barry Michael Gautreau, as well as her infant son.
She is survived by her brothers Thomas E. Bryson Jr (Marcia) and Ralph B. Bryson (Sheila); daughters Dana Truxillo (Joe), Darlene Lott (Larry), Debra Rey (William), and Danielle Gimbel (Johnny); stepsons Zachary Gautreau and Sabin Gautreau (Jayne)
She had two nieces and four nephews, 14 grandkids and 19 great-grands with one on the way.
She was loved by all and will be deeply missed.
Services will be held at Satsuma Baptist Church on Friday, 2/28/25 - visitation will take place from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM with a religious service to follow.
Pallbearers include Thomas 'Bruiser' Bryson, Buddy Bryson, Todd Martin, Lane Dugas, Bradley Gimbel, and Jonathan McCain.
