Hilda Landry Amedee

Hilda Landry Amedee, 82, a native of Chackbay and resident of Gonzales, LA, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2023. Hilda was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She leaves behind to cherish her memory; two children, Stephan Amedee (Karen) and Kathy Cedotal (Barney); three grandchildren, Stephanie Couch (Ben), Brandi Cedotal, and Brandon Cedotal; three great grandchildren, Reid Couch, Oliver Cedotal, and Cayden Gonzalez; one sister Sylvia Tregre and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph Patrick Amedee; parents, Whitmore and Olivia Landry. The family would like to thank her caregivers, Rochelle Mackbee and Sherry Hester. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Visitation at St John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Hwy 73, Prairieville, LA on Monday, February 13, 2023, from 9:30AM until 11AM. The Memorial Mass will follow at 11AM.
