Homer G. LeBourgeois, born on March 23, 1941 in Whitehall, LA, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at 4:12pm at the age of 81. Homer enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, working with his tools, gardening, and his little dog, Precious. He was a loyal member of the Knights of Columbus Council #6389, the Asbestos Workers Local 53, and a parishioner of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Homer is survived by his loving wife, Linda Selle LeBourgeois; children, Daniel (Sherri) LeBourgeois, Darren (Emma) LeBourgeois, and Kevin (Whitney Arlene) LeBourgeois; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Whittington, Brandon (Jayla) LeBourgeois, Tyler (Lauren) LeBourgeois, Jordan LeBourgeois, Morgan LeBourgeois, and Madison LeBourgeois; great grandchildren, Beckham Whittington, Brynlee LeBourgeois, Ellie LeBourgeois, and 2 more on the way; siblings, Noemie Millet and Iris (Harry) Sprague; sisters-in-law, Betty, Evelyn, Onedia “DiDi”, and Janet LeBourgeois; his canine companion, Precious, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members. Homer is preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Leon and Eugenia Vicknair LeBourgeois; brothers, Nelson, Ellis, Norman, Warren, and Alton LeBourgeois and Lacy Michael; sisters, Ellen LeBourgeois, Telvina Dupuy, Ella Mae Anderson, Bessie Dixon, and Sue Ann Matherne; brothers-in-law, Clement Dupuy, Alvin “Tootise” Millet, Jr., Charles Anderson, and E.F. “Pat” Dixon. Family and friends are invited to attend visitation starting at 9am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11am on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church (44450 Hwy 429 St. Amant, LA 70774).
