Huey Mcferren

A ceremony celebrating the life of Huey “Butch” McFerren will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 10:30 am at The Church International in St Amant, visitation will begin at 10 am. Mr. McFerren was born in Baton Rouge on August 13, 1949 and passed from this life, at his home, on November 26, 2020. He was a resident of Prairieville, and a retired pipefitter. He is preceded in death by his grandparents on both sides and his parents Gerald and Doris Leggion McFerren and a son Ben. Butch is survived by his wife Sandra; children Tommy, Elva, Terry, and April, also survived by 8 grandchildren. Survived by aunts and uncle and many cousins on both sides of his family. We wish to thank all of the nurses and doctors who took care of him the last couple of months at Our Lady of the Lake and Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center. In lieu of flowers, if any wish, make a donation to a small cell lung cancer organization or to Mary Bird Perkins Cancer center in his name.
