In Loving George Vernon Darst, Jr.

George Vernon Darst, Jr. passed away on January 10, 2019 at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge, he was 60 years old. Mr. Darst is survived by his sisters, Corinne D Joyner (Greg), Angela D Moore (Rony), and Lydia D Moore (Tony), Deby Counselman (Neil), and Alice Holliday; and a daughter, Dawn Darst. Predeceased by his great-aunt and great-uncle, Jess & Corinne Mowdy, who raised him as their own; his mother Mildred Smith Sloper, his father, George V Darst Sr, and a brother George Thomas Darst. He is preceded in death by his sons, Jason Darst and Michael Darst.
