In Loving Memory Of Marty Lou Harper

Marty Lou Harper, age 65, unexpectedly went to her eternal home Saturday, November 27, 2021 at her home in Denham Springs, LA. She grew up in and graduated from high school in Fortuna, CA before moving to Louisiana in 1980. 

A loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved time with her grandchildren. She had a heart for helping others. She enjoyed working in her yard, NASCAR racing, especially Tony Stewart, riding Harley Davidsons when she was younger, and her pets. 

She is survived by her children Betsy Harper of Baton Rouge, LA and Brian Harper of Smithville, TX; six grandchildren Sawyer Harper, Bryce Harper, Caydence Harper, Brianna Harper, Alysha Crisler and fiance Ethan Lott, and James Crisler and wife Megan; two great grandchildren, Emma Grace Crisler and Maisie Jae Crisler, four brothers, Rocky Taylor, Terry Taylor, Casey Taylor and Dennis Taylor; one sister, Denise Buckhalter; numerous other family members and many friends. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Dewey Harvey, and her parents Dennis Wayne and Betty Straight Taylor. 

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Church of the King Baton Rouge, 2037 Quail Drive, Baton Rouge, LA with Associate Campus Pastor Troy Brigalia. Visitation will be held for the public from 10:30 a.m. until the service at 1:00 p.m. 

Church Funeral Services of Baton Rouge is in charge of the arrangements.
