In Loving Memory Of Melinda Richardson Millet

Melinda Richardson Millet, a native and lifelong resident of Sorrento, LA, passed away at her home on Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at the age of 71.  Melinda enjoyed watching her hometown hero’s play sports (her Grandchildren & Great Grandchildren).  She also loved watching the LSU Tigers & The New Orleans Saints play.  Melinda’s most cherished memories were those made spending time with her husband of 53 years, her daughters, and their families.  Everyone that she loved was placed on the highest pedestal.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. 

Melinda is survived by her loving husband, Ronald J Millet; daughters, Latishia & (Doug) Adams, Zoddie & (Kevin) Bumgardner, Mitzi & (Jason) Adams; grandchildren, Justin Bumgardner (Samantha), Brett Millet (Rebecca), Jaci Kliebert (Tyler), Tyler Adams (Lacey), Bailey Adams (Paige), Kyle Adams; Great Grandchildren, Brody, Brooks, Breck Bumgardner, Piper Millet, Quinn Kliebert; sisters, Rhonda Templet and Kitty Landry; brother, Danny Richardson.

Melinda is proceeded in death by her parents, Joseph Clifton (JC) & Eunice Melancon Richardson; mother & father-in-law, Leonce (Pic) & Sienna Millet; brother, Don Richardson; niece, Kati Richardson

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at Carpenter’s Chapel (41181 LA-933, Prairieville, LA 70769) from 9am until services time at 11am.  Cremation services to follow. Justin Bumgardner, Brett Millet, Bailey Adams, Kyle Adams, Tyler Adams, Jaci Kliebert will serves as pallbearers.
