Pamela “Pam” Diane McDaniel Conerly, 74, passed away peacefully at her home in St. George, La, near Baton Rouge to be with our Heavenly Father August 29, 2021. Pam’s life will be honored Saturday, September 18 at Foster Road Baptist Church in Baton Rouge. Visitation will be 3 – 4 pm. Service will be officiated by Reverends Cary Kimbrell, Huey Moak, and Mike Morris at 4 pm. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall. Pam was born in Centreville, Miss. to the late Dealon and Frances (Matthews) McDaniel on January 12, 1947. She graduated from William Winans Attendance Center, class of 1965, and was an alumnus of Southwest Mississippi Junior College. On November 14, 1971, Pam married Ronald E. Conerly. They later divorced but shared a daughter, Tammatha, born October 31, 1973, whom she raised alone as a single mother. Pam retired from the State of Louisiana Department of Motor Vehicles Records Division. She loved to read and adored animals, owning numerous pets throughout her life, including dogs, mostly Chihuahuas, and many cats. Pam loved and was loved by many; it was said she never met a stranger. During her senior year in high school, she was voted friendliest and she remained one of the friendliest people throughout her life. Pam is survived by her daughter, Tammatha R. Conerly of St. George, La; one granddaughter, Katerina Diane Conerly also of St. George, La; her beloved chihuahua Loui; two brothers, Jerry McDaniel (LaVerne) and Wayne McDaniel both of Centreville, Miss.; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She is preceded in death by her Parents; John Delon McDaniel, Frances (Matthews, McDaniel) Reeves, Stepfather J. Paul “Boo” Reeves; a brother, Mickey McDaniel; and nephews Matthew McDaniel, and Jay McDaniel.
