Jackie Bercegeay Beattie

Jackie Bercegeay Beattie, of Gonzales, born August 7, 1962, passed away on November 21, 2023 after a long fought battle with scleroderma and breast cancer. Jackie was an untamed firecracker with a heart and soul made from pure love. She created laughter and a twisted joy in everything she touched. She had a massive love for her family including found family and formed untouchable bonds that were stronger than steel. Her wild, witty and strong personality will be greatly missed by everyone who got the opportunity to know and love her. She is survived by her partner, Dawn Rountree; her daughter Kacie Palmton and wife, Anna; sister, Roxie Crawford and husband, Alan; sister, Wendy Williams and husband, Tom; brother, Trev Bercegeay; friend, Penny McKeller, who was there with her till the end. She was preceded in death by mother, Marie LeBlanc Bercegeay; father, Lionel (Tommy) Bercegeay; brother, Todd Bercegeay and Kacie’s dad, William (Bill) Palmer.
She will be laid to rest at Hope Haven Gardens of Memory Cemetery. The family would like to invite all her friends and relatives to a celebration of life on Saturday, December 9th from 1:00pm to 4:00pm, which will take place at Wendy Williams’ house, 15083 Tom Williams Rd. Gonzales, LA 70737
