Jacqualine Gail Shelton

Jacqualine Gail Shelton (nee Howard) passed away on December 27, 2023, at the age of 67 in Baton Rouge, LA. She was born on November 18, 1956, in Birmingham, AL . Jackie, as she was fondly known, was a social butterfly and loved being around people. She was a loving mother, wife, and grandmother of four.

Jackie is survived by her husband, Mark A Shelton, her daughters Laura Marsh Jeffress and Courtney Chase Ballard, and her sister Martha Jean Crenshaw. She was also blessed with four grandchildren: Liam Gage Frazier, Blake Michael Sullivan, LilyAnne Grace Jeffress, and Sheppard Parker-Grey Temple. Jackie was preceded in death by her mother, Jean A Davis, her father, Jack Howard, and her brother, Ronnie Howard.

Jackie attended Banks High School and went on to have a successful career as an Apartment Leasing Manager. She was a member of the Most Blessed Sacrament Church, where she worshipped.

A Requiem Mass and Reception will be held in Jackie's honor at the Most Blessed Sacrament Church located at 15615 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA 70817, at 11:00 am. Contributions in memory of Jackie can be made to The National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation at NPCF.US.
