James A. Whittington
A ceremony celebrating the life of James A. Whittington will be held on Saturday June 18, 2022, at 3:00 pm at First Pentecostal Church Denham Springs; visitation will begin at 1:00 pm, officiating will be Rev. Billy Johnson and Rev. Robert Jones. Interment will follow at Denham Springs Memorial Cemetery, under the direction of Church Funeral Services.
James was born in Baton Rouge on March 12, 1976, and passed from this life on Wednesday June 15, 2022, at the age of 46 years.
He was a resident of Walker, an electrician with J Row Electric Company having spent his complete working career with that company. James spent his days off, from the electric company, working to help others. He enjoyed raising his ducks and chickens. He was a movie buff and had a passion for time spent with his family, especially the grandkids.
He is preceded in death by his father Frank Whittington Sr.
Survivors include his wife of thirteen years Heidi Whittington, children Hayden Landry, Dara Landry (Bobbie), Haley Whittington, and Brenon Whittington; mother Alice Faye Cormier, stepfather Gene (Yogi) Cormier, stepmother Martha Whittington, siblings Frankie Whittington, Travis Whittington, Carla W. Babin, Hope Bolton, Tiffany Boudin, stepsiblings Mark Cormier, and Britney King, also survived by 5 grandsons, host of other relatives and friends.
