James "Jim" Savoie Weidman

Jim Weidman, age 67, passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2024. Jim was a native of Gramercy and resident of Gonzales.

Jim is survived by his devoted wife of 48 years, Dana (Poleto) Weidman, two loving daughters, Jennifer (Matthew) Rostafin and Jamie (Kyle) Turnage, his four grandchildren, Luc and Lily Rostafin, Lane and James Turnage, and his sister Cassie (Scott) Hagood, many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews, along with high school friends who became family.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Cleta Weidman and his brother Rick Weidman.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 14, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Gramercy. Visitation will be held from 10:00 -11:00 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Paulina.
