James "Lynn" Keller, was born on October 16, 1940, a native of Lake, LA and a resident of Port Vincent, LA, he passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2024. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He loved hunting, fishing, gardening, and watching sports especially LSU football and baseball.
Lynn was an Insulator with Local 53 for many years and later on became a carpenter.
He will be deeply missed, he is survived by his loving wife Shirley A. Keller and their children: Daughters Cynthia (Cindy) Keller, Stacy Mae Keller, Sherry Thrift, Paula Badeaux, Kim Mayers and husband Heath; Sons Nathan James Keller and wife Cherie and Leon Badeaux and wife Rhonda. His grandchildren Terry McConnell Jr., Troy Mayers Jr., Fallene Cannon and husband Trent, Christopher Cernich, Chance Cernich, Joel Wallace Keller, Kristen Prettelt Brignac and husband Zachary, Jordan Keller, Tristan Keller, Natalie West and husband Trevor, James Badeaux and wife Rebecca, Steven Badeaux and wife Tanya, Melissa Smith and husband Matthew, Jessica Wilkes and husband James, Alyssa Badeaux, Katlyn Badeaux, Sara Boyce, Austin Lucarino and wife Brette, Bryce Mayers and wife Abbey and Hunter Badeaux and fiancé Daci. Numerous great-grandchildren; Sisters Selena Guitreau and Juanez Grenfell and husband David; Brothers Emile A. Keller, Jr. and wife Reeda and Leland Keller and wife Beverly. They will all cherish his memory forever.
He is preceded in death by his parents Emile A. Keller and Anna Marie Roux Keller as well as his brother Allard J. Keller.
Deacon Micheal Parker will be residing over the Services. The visitation will take place on February 12, 2024 at Lake Martin Catholic Church (Lake Chapel) located at 45049 Lake Martin Rd, St Amant Louisiana from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A prayer service will follow at the same location from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. The graveside service will be held at Lake Martin Cemetery (Lake Cemetary), St Amant, Louisiana, at 12:15 PM. Pallbearers will be Terry McConnell, Jr., Christopher Cernich, Joel Wallace Keller, Jordan Keller, Tristan Keller and Hunter Badeaux.
He touched the lives of those around him with his kind spirit and infectious laughter. His memory will forever be cherished, and his legacy will live on through the countless lives he has impacted.
We would all like to thank the Clarity Hospice Nurses Kim and Joyce for all their love, kindness and patience that they had in caring for Lynn.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
