J.C. Bourgeois

J C Bourgeois fell asleep at home and woke up in the arms of Jesus on November 22, 2018. J.C. was born on September 28, 1939, to Hobson Bourgeois and Jeanette Tullier. He graduated from St Amant High, served in the US Army for three years, and retired from Motiva Enterprises. He was saved when he was 30 years old and a member of Gonzales Baptist Temple. J.C. is preceded in death by his parents; and grandson, Joshua Hutto. He is survived by the love of his life for 57 years, Bonnie Webb Bourgeois; loving daughters, Darla Nixon (Ted), Robin Hutto (Charles); special daughter in law, Pam Parent; and a son, Chris Bourgeois; grandchildren, Michael (Paige), Austin (Erin) Bourgeois, Eric Vosburg, Anna Bourgeois, David and Rachel Hutto; and great grandchildren Kadyn, Stephan, Giuliana, Ethan and Elizabeth Bourgeois. A ceremony celebrating the life of J C will be held at 1 pm on Monday at Gonzales Baptist Temple; visitation will begin at 10 am. Interment will follow at Serenity Oaks Memorial Park Prairieville. The family would like to recognize St Joseph hospice for exceptional care and especially to Barbara. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are preferred to be given in memory of J C.
