Jeannie Martin

Jeannie Martin 73, of Prairieville, loving mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away Tuesday December 24,2024.

Born April 5, 1951, she grew up in Alton, Il and moved to Louisiana in 1994, where she later became the proud of Bayou Bar. She loved her customers and her community. She will always be remembered for her kindness and generosity. Jeannie never knew a stranger and was a friend to all. She loved a good adventure, was always the life of the party, and never turned away from a good time. She was a wonderful mother who loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter Julia Hamilton of Prairieville, son and daughter-in-law Rob and Carla Baker of Manito, Il. Six grandchildren Aaron, Ryan, Louis, Casey, Emily and Piper and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Glenn Martin and son Ryan Howard.

Jeannie was loved by many, and she will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
