Jeff 'Buddy' Mead Pounders III

Jeff ‘Buddy’ Mead Pounders III, born in Baton Rouge on February 22^nd, 1953 passed away at Ochsner Baton Rouge on March 4^th, 2024.

Jeff loved hunting and fishing and being with his family. He was a veteran of the army.

His parents, who preceded him in death, were Jeff Pounders Jr. and Barbara Watts Pounders.

He is survived by two daughters Sarah Pounders and Madeline Pounders, step-daughters Stephanie Gonzelas and Shannon Allen; grandsons Cameron Pounders, Gorden Parham, granddaughters Amber Parham and Emma Pounders.

He was loved by his aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.

Buddy was buried at Colyell Baptist Church Cemetery.
