Jerry "JJ" Morgan

A ceremony celebrating the life of Jerry Joseph “JJ” Morgan Jr., will be held on Thursday at The River Church with visitation beginning at 9:30 am until time of service at 12 Noon, officiating Revs. Josh Payne and Ralph Stewart. Interment will follow at Albany Hungarian Presbyterian Cemetery.

JJ was born on April 17, 1978, in Independence, LA and rested from this life on July 29, 2024, at the age of 46 years. 

JJ had a passion for attending church, time spent with family and friends. He enjoyed racing, working on ATVs, and dining out. He will always be remembered for having a heart of gold, giving the best hugs, and especially being a funny jokester.

He is preceded in death by his mother Laura Sanders Morgan, grandparents Ralph and Rose Morgan, Otis and Betty Sanders, niece Laura Michelle Morgan, and cousin Shannon Cloud.

Survivors include his father Jerry “Tony” Morgan (Michelle), siblings Douglas Morgan (Courtney), Bryan Ashcraft (Arin) Brennan Morgan (Taylor), and Noah Morgan, he is an uncle to Collin, Cayden, Aubrey, Owen, and Fallyn, also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.
