Jerry Wayne Shearer

Jerry Wayne Shearer was born in Jackson, Mississippi to Douglas and Lena Shearer. He graduated in 1972 from Forest Hill High School in Jackson. He attended LSU for a semester or two, then decided to join the US Air Force, which he made a career out of. 

After retirement he ended up settling down in San Antonio, TX; until last fall when he moved to Baton Rouge to be near his family after developing multiple health issues. 

Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Doug Shearer, and brother Rick Shearer.

He is survived by his mother, Lena; three sisters Debbie Hope, Teri Rogers, Kimberly Singleton; and brother Steve Shearer. His ashes will be interred at Louisiana National Cemetery in Zachary, Louisiana, at a later date.
