John Clarkston Edwards

A life-long resident of Colyell, La. Passed away at his residence on Wednesday, April 29, 2020 surrounded by his family.  He was 63 years old.  He was born to the late Leroy “Roy” and Carrie Hardy Edwards.  He is survived by daughters, Kathryn Deslatte and Olivia Cook of Colyell, Tonya Greer of Prairieville, Angela Picou of Maurepas and Michelle Day of Livingston; Sons, John L. Edwards and Tim Day of Denham Springs; Sisters, Audrey Watts, Marcia Wheat and husband Terry and Lisa Guitrau and husband David; Brothers, Wilson Edwards and wife Shirley and Jerry Edwards and wife Paula;  Grandchildren, Rochelle Arnold, Raelynn Day, Haley Deslatte, Scotty Deslatte, Daniel Day and Jessee Cline and Great grandson, Liam Arnold and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.  He was preceded in death by his Wife, Catherine Parker Edwards; Son, Ronald W. Day; Grandson, Ronald W. Day Jr.; Parents, Leroy “Roy” and Carrie Hardy Edwards; Sisters, Nelda Edwards Morgan and Nellie Edwards Stout.  Private graveside service will be Friday, May 1, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at Colyell Community Cemetery.  Conducted by Rev.
