Joseph (Joe) Rumfellow, Sr.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Joseph (Joe) Rumfellow Sr. on November 9, 2021, at 11am at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St. Amant, LA. Visitation will be held prior to mass at 9am till 11am. Joseph (Joe) Rumfellow Sr. was born on September 21, 1941, in Napoleonville, LA and passed away on November 4, 2021, at his home in St. Amant at the age of 80. He was a dedicated husband to his wife, Carolyn Laiche Rumfellow. He loved gardening, watching NASCAR and LSU football as well as the Saints, collecting diecast model cars, and spending time with his family. He was a member of the Local 198 Plumbers and Pipefitters Union for 61 years. He worked as a Pipefitter and Maintenance for PCS Nitrogen in Geismar, LA for 38 years. He is survived by his wife Carolyn Laiche Rumfellow, his sister Rosalie (Lee) Rumfellow Malvenan, his daughter Candace (Candy) Rumfellow Latuso and husband Michel (Mitch) Latuso Ill, son Joseph (Jody) Rumfellow Jr. and wife Jill Humphrey Rumfellow. Grandchildren Brandon Latuso, Jana Latuso Rozier and husband Cameron Rozier, and Jadyn Rumfellow. He was preceded in death by his parents Samuel Rumfellow and Mary Totora Rumfellow, his brother Rudolph (Rudy) Rumfellow, his sister Elizabeth Loucille (Lou) Rumfellow-LaBorde. Pallbearers will be Brice Guitrau, Glenn Rumfellow, John Rumfellow, Garrett Laiche, Ross Guitrau and Scot Champagne. Church Funeral Services of St. Amant is in charge of arrangements. 225-644-9683
