Joseph Percy Knapps Iii

It is with heavy hearts our family announces the unexpected passing of our beloved Joey.

No one loved life and family more than him, for he was blessed to know the value of them during life.  He would not want us to weep for him, for he has been set free. So please join our family Saturday July 9,2022 to celebrate his life. Please bring photos and memories to share with our family and say goodbye.

Joey is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Percy Knapps Sr. and his maternal grandmother IVA Lee Boudreaux

He is survived by his maternal grandfather John Joy of Arizona

He will be deeply missed by his wife Cassandra Smith Knapps and children

Daughter Kylee Knapps

Decoda Campbell, Anthony Pereira Jr, Drake Nickelson and Jazlynn Nickelson

He is the oldest son of Tammy and (Kelly) McClendon and Joseph and (Sharon) Knapps

He will forever be in the hearts of his brothers and sisters. Misty Killcrease, Dustin Knapps (Lisa),

Eric Knapps (Samantha), Justin McClendon (Alexis), Tabitha Stewart (Joe),

Chantelle Hall (Stephen) and Charles Falcon (Ashley)

 And numerous Nieces and Nephews he loved whole-heartedly.

A public visitation will be held at The Church International of St. Amant located at 13423 LA-431 St. Amant LA 70774, Saturday, July 9th from 10-11 and a service to immediately follow.

Pallbearers will be Dustin Knapps, Eric Knapps, Justin McClendon, Charles Falcon, Anthony Pereira Jr and Drake Nickelson

Honorary Pallbearers his nephews Tyler Falcon and Trampus Killcrease
