Juanita Davis Garrison

Juanita Davis Garrison passed away peacefully the morning of June 18, 2024 surrounded by family at her home in Denham Springs, LA. She was 87 years old, a lifelong resident of Denham Springs and member of Hebron Baptist Church. Juanita had retired from the Livingston Parish School System after many joyous years of employment as school secretary at Denham Springs Elementary and then at Lewis Vincent Elementary.

Juanita is survived by her four children, Keith Garrison (Paula), Janet Caffarel (Mark), Sharon Chandler (Doug) and Jo Ann Garrison; her three grandchildren, Sarah Chandler Garcia (Marc), Andrew Chandler and Lauren Johnson; and her two great-grandchildren Lily Claire Garcia and John Garrison Garcia.

Juanita is preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Garrison; her parents, Doyle and Sybil (Hood) Davis; and her siblings, Dorothy Harris and Sonny Davis.

Visitation will be from 9:00AM to 11:00AM Saturday, June 22, 2024 at Hebron Baptist Church.

Memorial service and burial will follow at 11:00AM.

The family of Juanita Garrison would like to express our profound gratitude to the extended family and friends that were part of Mother's support group as she faced her inevitable passing. While she was willing and ready to accept her Heavenly Father's plan for her, the support of her family and friends made her last days much more enjoyable. A very special thank you to Leslie Kennedy.
