Judy Ann Williams Nickens

Born and raised in Gonzales. She passed away Nov 11, 2024 in Pensacola Florida. She was 81 years old. She received her undergraduate degree in Business and Art and then her Master's Degree in Art from LSU. She was a Tiger Fan through and through. She was raised strong in faith in Jesus Christ and at 18 joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints continuing to live that faith. She was an artist and became an art teacher for almost 35 years. A member of Beta Eta Chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa. She is survived by her children: Dawn and husband Tom Williams; Dean and wife Rhonda Nickens; Ashley and husband Phillip Joyner. 10 Grandchildren; 9 Great-Grandchildren and one on the way. 3 Brothers: Ray Williams and wife Rosann; Warren Williams and wife Julie; Jeff Williams. She is preceded in death by her parents: Comer and Leola Williams and 2 Brothers: Bobby Williams and Steve Williams. Visitation and Service will be Sat Nov 16, 2024 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Gonzales, Hwy 30, visitation will begin at 11 am until service at 1 pm. Burial to follow at Faithful United Methodist Church Cemetery. Arrangements by Church Funeral Services.
