A ceremony celebrating the life of Julia Mae Tompley Pierson will be 2 pm Thursday at First United Pentecostal Church Denham Springs, visitation will begin at 10 am. Interment will be at Courtney Cemetery Holden; Rev. W. R. Johnson will be officiating.
Mrs. Pierson a resident of Holden, passed away on February 17, 2020 at the age of 93 years. She was born to the union of the late Corn and Nita Tompley on September 7, 1926 in Lake, LA. She was a homemaker and a member of First Pentecostal Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Alfred J. Pierson; children A. J, Allen and Diann Pierson; brother J. C. “Billy” Tompley; sister Mary Katherine Villar; great great grandson Hunter Pierson.
Survivors include her children Loretta Thompson (Glenn), and Jackie Pierson (Murline); sister Audrey DeLaCerda; also survived by 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 9 great great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
