Julie A. Coury Gray

On Friday, August 30, 2024, Julie A. Coury Gray of Baton Rouge, Louisiana passed away at the age of 53. Julie was born in Evergreen Park, Illinois on April 16, 1971. She grew up in the Chicago area. 

Julie married her husband, Raymond Gray, more than 30 years ago. They have three children, Zachary, Ethan and Hope. Julie enjoyed many things throughout her life, including cooking some of her family’s favorite foods, being a roller derby mom, and pampering her dogs. 

She is loved and missed by her husband, Ray; her children, Zachary, Ethan and Hope; her parents, Kathleen Mitchell Coury and James Coury; her sister, Laura Coury; and her nephews, Maxx and Alexx Strahs. She was preceded in death by her sister, Carolyn Strahs; her grandparents, Florence and Edward Mitchell; and her grandmother, Violet Coury. 

Julie is also loved and missed by relatives and friends around the country.
