Funeral services for June Ayres LeBlanc, age 89, will be held on Friday, September 16, 2022, at 11:00am the Fundamental Baptist Church, 24240 Frost Road, (Hwy 63), Livingston with Pastor Rusty Silvertooth and Pastor Joey Wampler as officiants. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held for the public from 9:00am until 11:00am at Fundamental Baptist Church.
She retired from LSU as an accountant for Animal Science after many years of devoted service and was also the secretary of Fundamental Baptist Church for 15 years. Mrs. June was known for living her faith with a heart of service and giving. Her joy and passion were the times spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Josephine Cummings and James Ayres; sister, Jeanne Adams; husbands, Leo Couty and Lee LeBlanc.
Survivors include three children, Julee Alexander (Gary), Lisa Lorio (Rodney) and Christopher Couty, Sr; grandchildren, Brandi, Anita, Couty, Joy, Sarah, Daniel, Nathanael, Grace, Faith, Caleb, Charity, Benjamin, Anna and Stephen Alexander, Rebekah, Phillip, Jonathan and McKenzie Lorio, Courtney, Christopher Jr, Cynthia, Victoria and Aaron Couty; thirty-one great-grandchildren.
All grandsons will be pallbearers.
The family is deeply grateful to the nurses, aides, and staff at Heart of Hospice for their loving care of our mama.
