Kenneth Joiner went to his heavenly home on Wednesday December 8, 2021. A Memorial Service celebrating his life will be held at The Church International, 13423 LA Highway 431 St. Amant, LA 70774 on Saturday December 18, 2021. The family will receive visitors, in the Timothy building, beginning at 9:00 am and the service will begin at 11:00 am. During his 74 years, Ken graduated from Glen Oaks High School in 1964, earned an Associate of Arts Degree in Music Education from Northeast Louisiana State College, served in the United States Air Force and The Louisiana Army National Guard, worked as a teacher, heavy equipment operator, heavy equipment mechanic, and volunteered his time serving many in need. Ken’s favorite hobby was fishing and often recalled wonderful memories of time spent, on the water, with his father, family, and friends. Ken attended The Church International in St. Amant, serving in many different areas, and graduated from The Church Institute of Discipleship. He was known for his heart to serve others, sense of humor, andwill be remembered as a beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Brother-in-law, Uncle, and loyal friend. He was born to, and is preceded in death by his parents, George Lewis Joiner and Trudie Jane Joiner of Delhi Louisiana. Kenneth is survived by his wife of 45 years Myrtle Ann Joiner, their three children, daughter Trudie Joiner Burchfield (and husband Scott), son Adam Lewis Joiner (and wife Heather), son Alex Lacy Joiner (and wife Taryn), five grandchildren Brooklynn Whittington (and husband John), Nicholas Burchfield, Annaliese Joiner, Lucas Joiner, Jaxon Joiner, and brother George Lewis Joiner, Jr (and wife Ruth).
