Kenneth “Kenny” Shelden
Mass of Christian Burial for Kenneth “Kenny” Shelden, age 63, will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Immaculate Conception Church, 865 Hatchell Lane, Denham Springs, LA 70726, with Fr. Matthew Graham as Celebrant. Burial will follow at the Denham Springs Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 am until the Mass at 11:30 am.
Kenny grew up in Denham Springs and had resided here for the past 30 years. He worked for Acme Refrigeration for the past 37 years. Kenny loved spending time with his children and grandchildren, going to the drag races, watching LSU with family and friends, and loved listening to music – especially Rush…loudly.
Kenny is survived by his loving wife of 36 years Krissi Shelden; daughter Maggie Broussard and husband Colby; son Matthew Shelden; mother Mary Toler; grandchildren Mila Martin and MaKenna Shelden; brothers Greg Shelden and Mike Shelden; sisters Karen Furnish (Alan), Linda Kilchrist, and Julie Kennison (Dewayne); and countless family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Shelden and brother, Carl Shelden.
