Koreen Heidloff Walker

Koreen Heidloff Walker passed away on June 10, 2024 from acute myeloid leukemia. She was born in McCook, Nebraska and spent her adult life in Louisiana. Her career at City National Bank was followed by a retirement devoted to family, friends and travel.

She was preceded in death by her husband John D. Walker, father Jack G. Heidloff, brother Rick Heidloff and his wife Londa. 

Surviving her is her mother Imogene Heidloff, her children Stacey Scharfenstein Kelley (JC), Christopher J. Walker (Liesel), grandchildren Cameron Curtis, Jack and Eloise Walker, sisters Mimi Heidloff and twin Karla Burke, nephew Todd Knaak, nieces Kirsten Szumada(Jon), Jill Richardson (Rich), Amy Solis (Kenny) and their children: Skylar Knaak, Wyatt and Chloe Cadwell, Madeline and Katie Richardson, Ricky, Jack and Sam Solis. Also survived by the Ya-Ya’s, special friends for many years. I want Kathleen, Kitty, Lenda, Madonna, Mary and Patty to continue making memories.

A private service will be held by the immediate family at a later date.In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Leukemia and lymphoma society, Team Gleason, CAWS or charity of your choice.
