LaDonna Eve Wooley, 69, of Gonzales, LA peacefully passed away surrounded by all of her daughters on April 26, 2024. Born on November 27th, 1954, in Baton Rouge, LA, she was the daughter of Peggy Schuster and Jimmie Stafford. Like most within our family, Eve was stubborn and always spoke her mind, but she had a great heart that cared fiercely for all those around her and could become friends with strangers within seconds. She loved many things- traveling to different places, playing her sudoku puzzles, drinking her daily can of coke, cheering for every LSU and Saints game, but above all else, she loved spending time with her family, especially her many grandkids. Eve will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her. She is survived by her parents, Peggy Schuster and Jimmy Stafford, her sister, Vickie Keller (Karl), her former husband Richard Wooley, her children: Joey Frump Van Metre (Joey), Aimee Trotti (Craig), Lacey DuBois, Deanna Richmond (Clinton), Kacey Huang (David), and Kelsey Wooley, and grandchildren: Collin Trotti, Chase Roy, Hunter Roy, Maxwell Roy, Ethan Van Metre, Sydney Van Metre, Anthony DeMuro, Aiden DeMuro, Londyn Dubois, Riley Dubois, Addison Richmond, Abigail Richmond, and Emilia Huang. She is preceded in death by her sister, Jimmie Lee Stafford, her stepmother, Billie Stafford and her son-in-law, Sky DuBois. We would like to give sincere gratitude to the caring staff at the Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice in Lafayette who provided a welcoming and peaceful home for Eve during her final days. Please join us to celebrate Eve's life on Thursday, May 2nd at The Church International St. Amant. Visitation will be from 9am-11am. The service will begin at 11:00am. The burial will follow at Hope Haven Cemetery
