Laura Claire Tison Harris
Laura Claire Tison Harris, 1/13/1918 – 10/12/2021, was born to William White Tison and Ethel Claverie Tison and married George James Harris on 4/1/1940. As an outstanding piano teacher for 70 years and a gifted artist. She constantly shared her love of the arts and used her God-given talents to encourage others to do the same.
A cherished mother of three children, Claire Lee, Carole Harris, and George Harris, Jr. She has ten grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband of 79 years, her sisters, Camilla Tison Rachal and Ethel Chaffin.
Graveside service Monday 10 AM at Roselawn Memorial Park cemetery arrangements with church funeral services
