Leatrice Roux Lambert

January 10, 1928 — June 11, 2024

Leatrice was born in New Orleans, LA on January 10, 1928 to Charles and Julie Aydell Roux. She died in Gonzales, LA on June 11, 2024. She was a resident of French Settlement, LA and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. After finishing school she married Claude Lambert. They had one daughter, Leatrice. She loved being with her family and friends. She enjoyed playing the piano and was an organist for over 25 years for her church. She was a member of the Holy Rosary Society and a member of the French Settlement Historical Society.

She is survived by one daughter, Dianne L. Miller; two granddaughters, Renee Arnold and Robbie Decoteau; one great-grandson, Brennan Arnold; and one great great-granddaughter, Blakely Arnold.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Claude Lambert; and her parents, Charles and Julie A. Roux.

Leatrice will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will be at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 15710 Highway 16, French Settlement, LA, on Monday, June 17, 2024 from 9:00 am until a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. Burial to follow in Church Cemetery.
