Leo Sidney Charbonnet’s life was a radiant reflection of hope, resilience, and strength, inspiring countless individuals with his unwavering courage. On October 18, 2024, at 3:32pm, Leo’s remarkable journey came to a serene close after a courageous three-year battle with Colon Cancer and Peritoneal Carcinomatosis.
His enduring love, devotion, and legacy lives on through his wife of 20 years, Stacy; their five children: Matthew and his wife Kayleen, Andrew and his wife Xena, Brooklyn Townson and Vincent Bianca, David and his wife Katie, Kaila and her husband Dylan Flores; and five (soon to be 7) grandbabies: Ruby and little Leo Flores, Jaxon Charbonnet, Oliver and Theodore Charbonnet. He also leaves behind his dad Pops (Donald), his mother Beverly Miserendino, his brothers, Mike and Tony and their families.
Leo’s life was a beacon of faith, family, and service, illuminating the lives of all who knew him. With a distinguished 19-years Navy career and 39 years as a machinist, Leo’s life was a masterpiece of purpose and dedication.
