Lloyd Adolph Armant, Jr.

Lloyd Adolf Armant, Jr, age 83, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 21, 2023, at Our Lady of the Lake Ascension in Gonzales, LA. A native of New Orleans, he was the son of Laura Lois Touchard and Lloyd Adolf Armant, Sr. He was a body and fender repairman for many years, worked with the postal office in New Orleans and was a veteran in the US Army. He enjoyed spending time playing basketball all his life. He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Barbara Armant; daughter, Stacey Armant; sister, Brenda McClaughlin; brother, John Armant; three grandchildren and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Lloyd Armant, III. Private memorial services will be held at a later date. Church Funeral Services of St Amant is in charge of the arrangements.
