Louis B Johnston

Slaughter, Louisiana

Louis B Johnston, Jr., LBJ or as many knew him "the plumber" went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 25, 2025.  He was a US Army veteran and a plumber by trade.  He was born July 1, 1942 to Louis Johnson Sr. and Laura Lee.  He is preceded in death by both of his parents, his sister Ann Gasquet, sister Louise Johnston, son Louis Johnston II, son Eddie Ray Johnston, son Dougie Johnston, son Robert Johnston, a granddaughter and a grandson.

He is survived by his sweetheart of 23 years, Madonna White, brother Walter Johnston, and children Michael and Mitchell Johnston, Holly Greer, Marsha Blatz, Samantha Beasley; also numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren with one granddaughter he was so proud of, Dailyn Miller, who followed in his footsteps joining the US Army.  He was loved by many and will be missed by all.  

Services will be held at Slaughter First Baptist Church on Saturday, March 28.  Visitation to begin at 9AM with a service to follow at 11AM.
