Lucille Eva Rousseau Berthelot

Lucille Eva Rousseau Berthelot, a native of White Hall and resident of Port Vincent, passed away on Friday, June 17, 2022, at the age of 95. She was the proud owner and operator of Prairieville Lounge for many years where she was affectionally known as “Mrs. Lucy” and later retired from TG&Y. Lucille enjoyed gardening and traveling the US with her husband. She is survived by her son, Wayne Berthelot (Alma); daughters, Linda Lambert (Patrick), Gail White (Terry), and Maida Parent (William); sister, Rosemary Clements; grandchildren, Barry Moran, Anthony White, Vanessa York, Ashley Marcus, Scott and Kade Parent, Travis, Dodi, Corey, Craig, and Brandon Berthelot; 15 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.  Lucille is preceded in death by her husband, Roy J. Berthelot; sons, Alvin “Joe” and Gary Berthelot; grandsons, Glynn Lambert and Geoffrey Berthelot.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2022, at The Church International of St. Amant from 9:00am until funeral service at 11:00am.  Burial to follow at St. William Catholic Cemetery in Port Vincent, LA.  Barry Moran, Anthony White Sr., Anthony White, Jr., Scott Parent, Travis, Craig Berthelot will serve as pallbearers.
