Ludie “Jay” Jackson Cochrane IV, born in New Orleans, La on January 8, 1978 died January 1, 2020 in New Orleans, Louisiana. He is survived by his children Gage Cochrane, Hannah Robino, Landon Fallas, and Lana Morgan, his brothers and sisters Michelle Mortara, Kenneth Cochrane, Adrien Cochrane, Holly Cochrane Deroche, his stepmother Lois Cochrane, and his grandmother Betty Cochrane. He was preceded in death by his father Ludie Cochrane III, Mother Jo-Ann Coltrane, grandparents Ludie Cochrane Jr., Joseph Coltrane, Verla Touchard Coltrane. Jay was loved by so many and was given his wings too soon! He definitely left an impact on everyone he knew! His contagious laugh, his willingness to help others and give the shirt off his back, will always be remembered! A celebration of Jay’s life will be held Saturday February 8, 2020 from 1:00pm to 4:00 pm at Depope Launch and Tavern, 6201 E Saint Bernard Hwy, Violet, LA  70092 for relatives and friends that would like to pay their respects or share a great memory.  Arrangements made by Church Funeral Services and Crematory, Baton Rouge, LA.
