Mable Morain Angelle

Visitation will be Monday 9:00am until 11:00am for Mable Morain Angelle Monday at First Baptist Church New Roads; funeral service will be at 11:00am Interment will follow at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Cemetery Port Barre. Mable was born on December 15, 1922 in Washington, LA to the union of Nico and Linda Morain and departed from this life on Wednesday January 31, 2018 at 95 years of age. She was a member of First Baptist Church New Roads and a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, especially growing vegetables. She was an avid reader and had a passion for music and dancing. She will be remembered as being a wonderful cook and a fantastic seamstress. She adored her son; who was a musician and she loved listening to his music. She is preceded in death by her parents; her son Wilson Angelle; siblings, Dennis and Jesse Morian, Ida “Da” Guillory, Gladys Samson, Wilda Chiasson, and Ada “Day” Marcantel. Survivors include her grandchildren, Robin Angelle Kilpatrick, Penny Angelle, Kelli Angelle Kuntz and Vela Angelle; and their mother, Cheryl Fabre Landess; sister, Mary Louise Morain, Eva Hebert and Zoula Fruge; her special niece, Tiffany Yerger; also survived by 8 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, host of nieces and nephews. Those honored to serve as pallbearers River Kilpatrick, Laird Lavespere, Cade Kuntz, Chad Kuntz, Jackson Cole Fontenot and Marion J.
