Margaret Delaune

Margaret Richard DeLaune lost her battle with lung cancer on May 10th, 2023. She was voraciously kind, generous, talented, intelligent, and loving, but words cannot describe her passion for caring for others. During her time as a Nurse Practitioner she touched countless lives with her expertise and kindness. She loved immeasurably and for those of us that were lucky enough to get caught up in her glow, you know what that means. She was always positive and always looked for the silver lining, even when things seemed impossible. Her light will be sorely missed.

Margaret is survived by: her two sons and daughter in law, Ryan & Jaime DeLaune and Travis DeLaune; two sisters Joann Stone and Sandra Ledoux; four brothers Leo Paul Richard, Renee Richard, Randall Richard, and Richard Richard; and cousins, nieces, nephews – too many to list!

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Margaret’s name are welcome to be made to a cancer research center of your choosing. Thank you for your thoughts & prayers for Margaret and our family.
