Marion Monroe Francis Edwards, IV

Marion Monroe Francis Edwards IV, 38, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, loving husband and father, passed away Thursday Nov. 23, 2023, at home and of natural causes. He was born on October 17, 1985, in Lake Charles, LA to Marion Monroe Francis Edwards III and Mylinda Elliott.

Marion is a resident of Baton Rouge and attended Tara High School and McNeese State University. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Denham Springs; enjoyed reading, playing video games, star trek, comics, and volunteered for the church.

He is survived by his wife Kristin Edwards; daughter Gabby Edwards; adopted daughter Chesney Walker; adopted granddaughter Skyleigh Varner; mother Mylinda Elliott; foster mother Anne Melocone-Doub; foster father Lloyd Doub; brother Sam Guillory; sister Dominoe Candelin; sister Rose Elliott; brother Michael Elliott; foster siblings, as well as nieces and nephews, cousins, and animal companions, dog Pierre and 2 cats Moogie and Dax.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 865 Hatchell Lane, Denham Springs, LA from 10:00am until 11:30am. Memorial services will be held at 11:30am from the church with a bereavement to follow.
