Mark Anthony Matte, born February 24th, 1961, passed away on Sunday, March 10th, 2024 at the age of 63.
He is preceded in death by his father Hubert Tillman Matte, grandmother Donatile Thibodeaux and grandfather Onezime Thibodeaux.
He is survived by wife Vylinda Caroline Allen Matte, son Cody Alan Matte (Christina); mother Gloria Jean Thibodeaux, granddaughter Cassidy Anne Matte, step-daughter Caitlin Hancock Franks (Clinton), step-grandchildren Jason Chance Franks and Shanna Lynn Franks,; sister Rhonda Faye Matte Raby; god-daughter Kayce B. Laurie (David) and their children Daylin Rodrigue, Kaden Laurie, and Kaime Lee Rodrigue.
A celebration of life will be held for Mark on Thursday, March 21st, 2024 at Greenwell Springs Baptist Church - 19421 Greenwell Springs Rd. Greenwell Springs, LA 70739. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until religious services begin at 6:30 PM.
