Martin Parent Jr.

Martin Michael “Marty” Parent Jr, the light of our lives, went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 27, 2020 in Gonzales, Louisiana at the age of 57. We long to hold him one last time, to see his smile one last time and specially to hear his laughter one last time. He was truly was our ray of sunshine and will be greatly missed.

He loved to ride his motorcycle, go mud riding and to travel. He is survived in death by his two children, Chance and Collin Parent, girlfriend Jennifer Harrison mother Helen Parent; brother Todd Parent; and his wife Paula Parent, sister Amy Miller and husband Mike Miller, Niece Erika Hicks and her husband Brandon Hicks, their children Braxton and Ezra Hicks, Nephews Bailey and Holden Parent, grandson Jacob Parent and granddaughters Saige Stevens and Payton Parent numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Martin “Marty” Parent was preceded in death by his father Martin M. Parent Sr.

Services will be held on Friday, December 18, 2020 at River of Life Church, 18295 La Hwy 16 Denham Springs; visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. followed by memorial service at 11:00 a.m.
